Continental Chart - Week of September 19, 2015

Wow. Has it really been 26 weeks since I started this chart?
The time has really flown. Thank you all.

Sorry, I just randomly felt like saying that. :P
Anyways, this week was a pretty interesting week. One particular reason was the Elton John/Vladimir Putin news story. In case you missed it, here's what went down:

  • This weekend at a Ukranian conference Elton John said he would like to meet Putin to discuss LGBT rights in Russia.
  • On Monday Elton John posted a thank-you message on Instagram to Putin for giving him a call.
  • The next day the Kremlin made a statement saying that the call never happened.
  • On Wednesday it was revealed that the supposed "call from Putin" was actually a PRANK CALL from two Russian comedians/talk show hosts named "Vovan and Lexus."
  • The next day Elton John responded, saying: "If this unfortunate incident has helped push this vital issue back into the spotlight, then I am happy to be pranked on this occasion."

And that's what you missed...IN RUSSIA!!! :D
You can find the link to the prank call audio here:
