Oh, sorry about that. That was just...me.
Anyways, this is week #14, and I just now got around to adding sidebars. I might add more in the future, but for now there's an About page, as well as a page of records and stats. Enjoy them while they last!...just kidding.

DeleteNice chart and I just noticed the stat page, that's a good idea
ReplyDeleteDon't worry I won't copy u with it
DeleteHey, guys! It's time for...
ReplyDeleteRemy's Radical Review: Thatchos' Continental Chart edition!
Unlike many and most reviews, I'll start with this week's "numero uno" and go from there, and ending with the review of the Breakout Hit of the Week.
This is something new that I'm trying out just for this week, so I'd appreciate it if you'd leave a comment, or reply to this comment/post in a nice and friendly demeanor. Okay? Anyway, here we go! The 1st ever edition of Remy's Rad Continental Chart Review starts... NOW!
Honey, I'm Good is already turquoise. Sorry, Thatchos. :/
Shut Up and Dance is now old, in my book. It's yellow now, but it may soon be turquoise, depending on the amount of airplay it gets.
TSGH is a definite green. ;)
Same with Fight Song.
See You again is on the verge of becoming yellow, but for now, it's pink. I mean, I still like it, but it's just slowly starting to get old on me.
Bright is okay. It's blue, which doesn't necessarily mean that it's old, but if I were to assign it a second color, that color would be pink/yellow.
Budapest is pink.
Cheerleader= definite green. :)))
Same with Bad Blood. (Is Taylor on her period? Check out Bart Baker's parody of this song to find out :D)
Lean On is green, despite the annoying bridge it has near the end.
Photograph, like any other Ed Sheeran song that hasn't already grown old on me, is green. For now, at least...
Ah, Nothing Without Love... that song deserves to be put in... green. Only because of Thatchos liking it... (What did I just say?)
YAS! CFMF is def. purple! Super stoked it got the biggest leap this week!
Elastic Heart is green, but it may slowly start to evolve into the pink category...I'm guessing.
I Bet my Life is a big fat no, and a big fat red, on my part.
Ghost Town is a green! It was hard to choose between this and CFMF for the #PurpleAward, but, alas, the latter won. (Or is it the former? I don't know...!)
Uma Thurman... sadly...gets the #OrangeAward this week.
Where Are U Now is green.
Same with YKYLI, but, and this goes to Adrian, specifically, why do you think your mom likes it so much? Did that make any sense? I hope so...
Superheroes is blue.
I have not listened to Hit Me yet, so, just for this week, it's gray. Which means either "no opinion," or "haven't heard it yet," am I right? In this case, it's the "haven't heard it yet," but it could also be both. Okay, I'm moving on now...
WTBDO is green.
Same with Hold My Hand. Was it ever a Breakout Hit of the Week? I don't think so... (but I could be wrong... maybe...)
After a couple listens, I can now safely say that TIMH is... officially... green! Shoutout to Trance, the twenty one pilots lover, on this one!
Take Your Time is also green.
Hold Back The River is...okay, to say the least. A bit repetitive, but I'll put this one under the blue category.
Ah, well. At least Shots is better than crappy ol' I Bet My Life. Green to you, my friend.
Stop and Stare? Wasn't this, like, back from 2010 or something? But, whatever, it's still an oldie but a goodie. Or, should I say greenie? Yep, it's a green from me!
I've only listened to a small segment of Beautiful Now, so I'm gonna have to code this one under the gray category, for now.
Breakout Hit Time! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Stitches, and I hope it debuts the chart next week!
And... that's it, folks! Shout out to Thatchos for making this chart in the first place, and I'm looking forward to you many other charts on this (rather beautiful) blog for weeks and weeks to come!
Remy is out! Peace!
-Remy
Not 2010 for Stop and Stare...but 2007. :)
DeleteEither way, NICE REVIEW!!!
Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention: This review is going by Adrian's color code, as always. And, though I don't normally go by a color code for my reviews, I'm having this particular review go by a color code. (I dunno why though.)
DeleteOkay, now I'm done. Peace!
-Remy
HOLY COW THAT'S OLD!
DeleteAhem. Well, thank you so so very much for, as you say, "checking the chart!"
-Remy
And Hold My Hand was never a Breakout Hit.
DeleteSpeaking of Breakout Hits, Stitches actually almost debuted at #30 three weeks ago, but WALK THE MOON - Different Colors ultimately won out. Sorry. :(
ATTENTION:
ReplyDeleteThe 2015 year-to-date Continental Chart is coming pretty darn soon.
Who wants to guess the #1 song of the first six months of 2015?
Whoever gets it right...well, they get it right, which is GOOD!! :D
NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE
Delete-Remy
SHUT UP AND DANCE, DONT YOU DARE........
DeleteHoney I'm Good.
DeleteMine is coming out too very soon. Any guesses on the #1 song so far?
DeleteI'd say it's Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth - See You Again.
DeleteOr perhaps Hozier - Take Me to Church.
Or maybe even Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do.
Or……nah, we all know what the Hit 45 Chart #1 of 2015 is………
Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud
>D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D >D
I'm just kidding, it's obviously Maroon 5 - Sugar.
Those first three are REALLY good guesses.
DeleteSee You Again or Hey Mama
DeleteOh and who wants to guess mine!
DeleteI predict that the T45 chart's #1 of 2015 (so far) is……
DeleteFifth Harmony/Kid Ink - Worth It
Or maybe Fetty Wap - Trap Queen. Probably Worth It. :/
For Adrian's: Hey Mama, Ghost Town, See You Again, LMLYD, TMTC... Or perhaps Blame? #JustKiddingTho
Delete-Remy
And for Lance's: Worth It, Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae, or perhaps... (idk)
Delete-Remy
Trap Queen or Worth It

ReplyDeleteWho wants to guess mine
ReplyDeleteNo one can guess yours, Mikey, because you hate every single song out there!

ReplyDeleteOkay, so Uptown Funk then. Satisfied?
Delete-Remy
How's about a Continental Chart review for Your's Truly?
ReplyDelete(NOTE: The color-coding from my blog applies.)
Dearly Departed Ditties:
#16: I have no real opinion on this song. (Dark Green)
#26: Noooooooooooooo!!!! (Green)
#27: Probably one of the better Fall Out Boy songs out there (with Alone Together being their best up-to-date) (sorry Remy). (Green)
#28: It was fun while you lasted. (Yellow)
#29: Meghan Trainor is slowly getting better after the disaster, All About That Bass, to the somewhat catchy, Lips Are Movin', to this really catchy tune. And yes, opinions change. (Green)
#30: Easy to get sick of when your mother always plays it and sings along to it. (Red)
The Chart:
30. Sucks that it had the Biggest Tumble. It's a really catchy song. (Green)
29. Interesting considering this song was from 2007. (Green)
28. I feel as though their most recent album was a disaster compared to Night Visions. (Red)
27. Definitely Bea Miller's best song. (Green)
26. It's okay......I guess. (Blue/Dark Green)
25. I keep having mixed feelings about this song. But most recently is probably the most I've enjoyed it. (Green)
24. I've been enjoying it more as time went on. (Green)
23. I really don't know what to think of this song. Sometimes it's good. Other times it's just okay. (Dark Green)
22. This song is roaming around the bottom of the Hit 45 Chart. I'm still enjoying it right now. (Green)
21. Interesing song from 2013. (Blue)
20. Nice. The song that spent one week at #1 on the Hit 45 Chart as well as making #33 on the Hit 45 Of 2014. It's a nice little flashback for me to how much I enjoyed it last year. It was like, one of my summer songs (along with Andy Grammer - Back Home and Hilary Duff - All About You). (Green)
19. Yes. I'm getting sick of it. It's EXTREMELY REPETITIVE!!! (Pink)
18. I think the production of this song isn't the best. It's good, just not fantastic. I'm enjoying Justin Bieber's vocals. (Green)
17. #BigFatNO (Orange)
16. #BigFatYES (Purple)
15. I honestly can't stand this song at all! It comes very close to being the worst. (Red)
14. It's not as good as Chandelier from last year. (Blueish, maybe Green)
13. Overall, very catchy song. Not as good as Earned It, but still really good. (Green)
12. As I said before, I see nothing special to this song. I enjoyed it for a little bit, but then it entered my book of annoying songs. (Red)
11. I'm ultimately tired of Ed Sheeran, but this song unlike the terrible, Thinking Out Loud, is decent-ish. Maybe a few more listens is what it will take to hook me into it. But maybe not. We'll see. (Blue)
10. I agree with Remy that the bridge of this song towards the end is really annoying. (Green)
9. I'm honestly starting to get annoyed with the solo version played on Hits 1. This version definitely has more to it than just Lamar's verses. (Green)
8. Unfortunately, you can't get worse than Uma Thurman. But you are definitely worse than I Bet My Life. This song is downright annoying. I hate it so much. (Red)
7. I've gotten extremely tired of this song. (Turquoise)
6. It's a really sweet song to listen to during sweet moments (.....if that made sense). (Green)
5. I'm definitely still enjoying this song. My mom always changes it whenever it comes on in the car because she says it's too sad. (Green)
4. I feel like I'm going to get tired of this song soon - thanks Mom. (Green - I'm trying to keep it that way as long as I can.)
3. This summer's gonna hurt like a mother- ah ha. It's definitely not Maroon 5's best. But it is catchy. Definitely than Sugar, which is hands-down their worst song yet. (Green)
2. I really don't like this song anymore. (Red)
1. I'm still starting to get sick of it. (Pink)
Breakout Hit: I love just about anything Shawn Mendes produces. I absolutely loved Life Of The Party (as you could tell when it debuted at #3 on the Hit 45 Chart). I also really liked Something Big. This one is a definite yes for me. (Green)
My Top 5 Picks:
Delete1. Adam Lambert – Ghost Town
2. Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar – Bad Blood
3. Sam Hunt – Take Your Time
4. The Script – Superheroes
5. The Weeknd – Can't Feel My Face
My Bottom 5 Picks:
1. Fall Out Boy – Uma Thurman
2. Omi – Cheerleader
3. Imagine Dragons – I Bet My Life
4. Nate Ruess – Nothing Without Love
5. Walk The Moon – Shut Up and Dance
(Sorry this couldn't be in one comment. Annoying Blogger was telling me I could only have 4,096 characters at most in one comment. -__- )
It's alright about the separate comments. That always happens with my Weekend Countdown reviews. :|
DeletePutting that aside, NICE REVIEW!!!! You too, Remy!
But, since I wasn't expecting a review from Adrian…I guess a return is in order……
...Shoutouts for next week?
DeleteMe and Adrian, perhaps, for doing our CC reviews?
-Remy (oh and I actually like Immortals, Adrian)
I know. I just don't know if you still don't like Alone Together.
DeleteDo you still hate All About That Bass?
Delete-Remy
Yes.
DeleteWell, there you go. YOUR All About That Bass= MY Alone Together.
